Betterly Privacy Policy

Betterly is designed to work without an account, advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Data Betterly stores

The items you create, completion history, reminder preferences, achievements, estimated savings inputs, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Betterly does not send this information to CMBCode.

If you choose to export a backup, iOS lets you decide where to save or share that file. CMBCode does not receive the backup unless you choose to send it to CMBCode yourself.

Notifications

Notifications are optional and scheduled locally on your device. You can change Betterly’s reminder hours and motivational notification settings in the app, and you can revoke notification permission in iOS Settings.

Optional tips

Optional one-time tips are processed by Apple through StoreKit. A tip unlocks nothing and does not create an account, badge, entitlement, or supporter status. Apple may process purchase information under Apple’s own privacy policy. Betterly does not maintain a purchase profile.

Tracking and third parties

Betterly contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. Betterly does not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Your Betterly data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it in Betterly, uninstall the app, or erase the device. Settings includes an option to delete all Betterly data.

Children

Betterly does not knowingly collect personal information from children because CMBCode does not operate an account or data-collection service for the app.

Changes

If Betterly’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the affected version is released.
